Dress code — Hacienda Formal

We'd love for everyone to lean into the easy elegance of a Yucatán hacienda evening. Here's a little guidance (and our color palette) to help you pack. Above all, wear something you feel wonderful in.

Our Palette

Warm, earthy Yucatán tones

We're dressing the day in the warm, earthy tones of the Yucatán. Pull from anywhere in this palette — mix, match, and make it your own.

  • Terracotta
  • Rust
  • Amber
  • Golden
  • Warm Brown
  • Olive
  • Sage
  • Camel
  • Cream

So everything blends beautifully in photos, we're kindly steering away from a few shades:

  • Bright blue & navy
  • Purple
  • Solid black
  • PURE WHITE (ESPECIALLY MEN'S SHIRTS)

For her

Flowing & effortless

Flowing floor-length gowns and elegant midi dresses are both perfect.

We kindly ask you to leave white — and anything that might read as bridal — to the grooms.

For him

Linen & guayaberas

A long-sleeve linen shirt is the sweet spot — and a guayabera, the Yucatán's timeless warm-weather classic, is especially wonderful in this climate.

Suits are very welcome; if you wear one, a soft linen shirt beats a crisp white dress shirt.

Where to find a guayabera: easy to find on Amazon and from Mexican brands. Our favorite is Ábito — beautiful linen made right in Yucatán. Ábito ships to the U.S., and all prices on their site are listed in Mexican pesos (MXN).

A small note

On Your Feet

Loafers, dress shoes, and heels all shine. We'd gently suggest leaving the beach flip-flops and casual sneakers back at the hotel.
