Centro Histórico
The colonial heart. Cobblestone streets, colorful mansions, all the sights within walking distance.
Santa Ana
Northern edge of Centro. Great cafés, chill park, walkable to everything.

Buzzy plaza, live music every Thursday, mix of locals and travelers.
García Ginerés
Leafy, mid-century residential. Quieter, with a strong local food scene.
Itzimná
Local, tree-lined, family-friendly. A little further north, more space for less.
Northern Paseo de Montejo

Altabrisa
Modern, upscale district in the north with malls, hospitals, and newer condos. Quiet, safe, and convenient if you have a car — a bit further from Centro but closer to the venue.
What to look for
- A/C in every room — living room, kitchen, and each bedroom, not just one
Homes in the Yucatán don't have central air. Many list 'A/C' but only cool one or two rooms — confirm there are mini-splits in every room, including the living room and kitchen.
